Lovely old town.
Beautiful square where you can hear the atmosphere of old England, (even if it is a reconstructed area)
Lovely place in Manchester. It is mandatory to visit it. You can add one pint in one of the pubs... or what you want (fish &chips, etc.). Near: Cathedral, Corn Exchange, Printworks, Arndale, etc. You can arrive using Metrolink.
Good location, beautiful place. You have two options: Take something down quickly: snacks and beer at the bar or ask for a sit upside at the restaurant. There is always crowded and service is too slow. The menu variety is not so long but beers are very very good. Not so expensive and beautiful furniture, deco and design.
The Mitres bang on Spotless inside and out.
Not tried food or Hotel.
Excellent service at the bar....
Also went in Sinclair's and the Wellington .
Went to ice cavern in cathedral Square then for a drink in the old Wellington. Lovely traditional pub. Very busy and fair prices. Did food upstairs but we didn't eat.
We love the food here but I have rated it 4 stars because the Christmas Diñner was poor. Pigs in blankets burnt, veg not consistent and we had to request cranberry. We have never had a poor meal here before. Standard is usually high so Christmas Dinner let them down.
Nice old pubs in the centre of Manchester, full of history are these old buildings. Very pleasant place to sit outside in the summer and watch the world go by. Reasonably priced food and drinks.
